We are an equity-minded organization where we uplift and empower student voices through culturally responsive work readiness training and coaching while working with employers to lift their efforts to be culturally inclusive and equitable. Our 360-degree approach ensures a stronger and more sustainable workforce.
Through impactful, non-transactional partnerships, and innovative programming, UpTurnships strives to close the racial wealth gap by addressing the racial career advancement opportunity gap.

We strive to break down inequitable barriers and build bridges between employers and the community to ensure a more just society for all. We strategically partner with equity-minded employers to open doors to paid internship opportunities in high wage high skill industries, and build diverse pipelines of early career professionals into the workforce by leveraging untapped local talent.
